Thank you for visiting Fireside Corner. If you are not already aware, we have recently moved to 211 Waterloo Street, Oshawa.
Fireside Corner is owned and operated by Mr. Gord Foster who has been in the hearth industry for the past 20 yrs. and has been manufacturing cabinetry for the past 8 yrs. We are active in retail, new home construction, renovations and condo markets.
At Fireside Corner, we offer a variety of products and services.
Products
- Gas fireplaces, Electric fireplaces, Wood stoves
- Cabinets/surrounds in numerous wood types and finishes - including custom work;
- Mantels and Cabinets are manufactured with 5/8" MDF or 3/4" or plycore oak veneer.
We do not use particle board.
- Mantels and cabinets are finished with Minwax Stain or Latex White paint.
- Marble in a wide assortment of colours

We carry Continental, Dimplex Vermont Castings/Majestic, and many others.
Services
We manufacture, finish and install our own mantels/cabinets. Having our own custom wood shop allows us to supply our customers with a variety of fireplace surrounds, entertainment centers, bookshelves and Wall beds (i.e. Murphy Bed). If you have a design, we can build it.
Our products can be picked up or shipped anywhere in North America, and come with instructions, hardware, touch-up kits and wall hanging strips.
This allows you, our customer, to deal with one supplier and offers you great service at a reasonable cost.
